According to Natalia Bragin, when she first started manufacturing of articulated dolls, she had no idea on the use of 3D-printing. Interest for dolls arose after artist has visited Disneyland in Paris. Acquired there Rapunzel doll awakened memories of childhood and inspired to create her own dolls. To date, Natalia has already produced more than 20 different dolls. Four of them were made in Prototypster using 3D-printing.

When here, in Prototypster, we take out the details of dolls from container of 3D-printer, we can hardly imagine a finished image. Thanks to 3D-printing facial features, bending fingers can be seen in high details, but it is the artist who can breathe life into them.

Everyone can try their hand at creating articulated dolls. All you need is desire for it. For example, to start to learn 3D-modeling. Natalia also began gradually, the first 3D-modeled doll she made within six months. With experience everything began to turn faster. Now a new character modeling takes from two weeks to a month.

When 3D-modeling dolls for 3D-printing, you must take into account the fallibility. According to Natalia, «3D-printing is a very fine technology. It is easy to be trapped, if you do not take into account that the hinge cavity or eye socket may get a little smaller, while hinge or eyeball - bigger. "
